BLACK PARTNER FIRED BY LAW FIRM EXPOSES RACIALLY CHARGED "SHAM INVESTIGATION"

 

New York, NY --  Don Lewis is adamant that the sexual allegations levied against him by his former employer, Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP ("PB" or "Pierce Bainbridge"), are "absolutely false." He alleges he can prove that Putney Twombly Hall & Hirson LLP ("Putney"), the firm hired to investigate his wrongful termination, was intentionally deceitful. Lewis has filed a scathing response to the Putney motion to dismiss his claims, which includes a laundry list of flaws with the "sham investigation."

A. former NYPD detectives reviewed the investigation and said it was a farce;

B. evidence shows that either the False Accuser or the law firms lied about critical facts;

C. a time of occurrence was provided and retracted when it was determined it did not fit; and

D. if the False Accuser claims she locked herself in the office bathroom to get away from Lewis, why did she voluntarily offer to walk over to Lewis' apartment two weeks later and drop off Yankee tickets, - and then why did the lawyers lie about the entire incident and withhold the innocent related communication?

Lewis notes: "I am fighting against four law firms, Pierce Bainbridge, Putney Twombly, Littler Mendelson P.C. ("Littler") and Mukasey, Sklaroff & Frenchmen LLP. Managing Pierce Bainbridge Partner John Pierce ("Pierce"), is a deeply flawed individual who cons others into willfully jeopardizing their professional standing to do his bidding -- Michael Yim (Putney), Denver G. Edwards (PB), and Sylvia Jeanine Conley (Littler) are Exhibits A, B, C."

Lewis, who is African American, has two degrees from Harvard, and flourished in demanding environments at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and WeWork Companies, Inc. While PB tried to cover-up the illicit financial activities of Pierce and General Counsel Carolynn K. Beck, Lewis has persevered and fought back.

Lewis' multiple court filings punch gaping holes in the "sham investigation" and should be read closely. The flaws above are a small sampling. It appears very strongly that he was set up; and his race and offensive stereotypes employed.

Painting an even uglier picture, Lewis states: "Putney Twombly has now refused to provide the final report. It's reprehensible. Michael D. Yim flat reneged on his word."

An obvious question rings out: What does Putney Twombly have to hide? Why not just give Lewis the report as Yim promised they would?

Lewis notes: "Pierce Bainbridge Partner Christopher N. LaVigne told me several times that no one in the office believes the false allegations. His precise words were: 'Everyone knows she is lying.' I have known Chris for almost 15 years. Pierce and Beck made this up, they wanted me out and silenced forever because I was about to expose their financial fraud. Pierce and Beck were the two with the most to lose, they hire Beck's personal friend Yim and then control the sham investigation keeping everyone else in the dark. It stinks to high heaven."

Lewis once again called out his former partners Amman Khan, Andrew Lorin, Caroline Polisi, Chris LaVigne, Conor McDonough, Craig Bolton, Doug Curran, Eric Creizman, Jonathan Sorkowitz, Melissa Madrigal, Patrick Bradford, Mike Pomerantz. Lewis notes: "Each of my former partners have displayed their remarkably poor character. As the saying goes: 'Everybody has a price.' They will he held accountable and their decisions will see the light of day."

The Pierce Bainbridge parties are represented by S. Jeanine Conley of Littler Mendelson PC and Marc Mukasey of Mukasey Frenchman & Sklaroff LLP. Putney, Twombly, Hall & Hirson LLP and Michael Yim are represented by Peter C. Contino and Todd Belous of Rivkin Radler LLP.
