Unique Products Designed For Women With BV, Yeast & UTIs

West Palm Beach, FL -- pHembiotics(TM) is a woman-founded natural feminine care brand created by a Registered Nurse, Nia Spicer, after her chronic battle with Bacterial Vaginosis (BV), Yeast Infections and UTIs. During this cyclical fight with recurrent vaginitis, she discovered that Black and Latina women are afflicted at disproportionately higher rates than Caucasian women with little help from mainstream standard antibiotics.

So, Nia decided to create natural, scientifically proven solutions, designed to balance vaginal pH, fight vaginal odor, itching and burning. pHembiotics features the first probiotic and vitamin blend for vaginal health and a 6-day pH balance suppository kit.

"Every woman wants to be in control of her intimate health and feel confident, empowered, and sexy. But for 21 million women like myself in the U.S., Bacterial Vaginosis, Yeast infections, and UTIs are chronic issues - and mainstream medicine has little to offer," said pHembiotics(TM) CEO Nia Spicer. "The pHembiotics logo uses a delicate dove, calming color palette, and simple fonts to evoke femininity and gentleness. Our tagline 'Find Intimate Peace', exemplifies our commitment to help eliminate these pesky issues, and fix the problem - for good.

DOES YOUR DOCTOR'S RACE MATTER? NEW YORK CITY DERMATOLOGIST ANNOUNCES THE RELAUNCH OF A BLACK DOCTOR SEARCH ENGINE

New York, NY --  FindaBlackDoctor.com is a free internet service that allows the public to locate U.S. based African-American physicians, as well as dentists, podiatrists, clinical psychologists, and other health care providers. It originally launched in 2005 to much acclaim as it was one of the first such directories. The website has been on hiatus since 2008.

The demand for this reliable and user-friendly service has been expressed by many African Americans. Having built a popular, independent dermatology practice in the competitive New York City market Dr. Dina Strachan, the founder of the service, states little has changed since the initial launch in 2005 despite the increased popularity of doctor directories on the internet. She explains, "It seems like every day a new patient or someone on the phone expresses that they had been frustrated in not being able to find an African American doctor.

" Dr. Strachan adds, "Research shows that MOST people don't care if their doctor is the same race as they are. As many as 30%, however, have been reported to prefer, for a variety of reasons, that same-race doctors just like women often prefer female gynecologists." Recent studies show that Black men particularly have better health outcomes when their doctor is of the the same race.

Senator Sanders’ Statement On Governor Cuomo’s Uncensored Use Of The N-Word
Governor Andrew Cuomo (left) and James Sanders Jr. (right) are embroided in controversy on N-word

State Senator James Sanders Jr. said:

"Yesterday New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo used the uncensored version of the n-word during a live radio interview. He was quoting a New York Times article, titled "How Italians Became 'White'" that was published on Saturday, which described derogatory slurs that that were historically used against Italians, and that included variations of the n-word like “white n-word” and “n-word wop.”

The New York Times, which is supposed to be the paper of record, was sloppy for using the uncensored n-word and the Governor was insensitive and wrong for repeating it. He knows better and he should have done better.

The racially charged n-word is deeply entrenched in hatred and cannot be separated from a history that includes murder, rape, hanging and being burned alive.  It has a power so strong that even when white people wanted to hurt each other they used this word, as the NY Times article pointed out.
