Held every last Saturday of the month, The Jackson Room has become known for bringing world-class musicians together in an intimate setting while helping to preserve and celebrate the rich jazz heritage of Southeast Queens. This month's performance carries special significance as it honors the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis, one of the most influential and innovative musicians in American history, who once called Queens home.

Leading the evening will be acclaimed saxophonist Ed Jackson, an award-winning performer who has shared the stage with jazz legends including Roy Haynes and the Count Basie Band. Jackson will be joined by an extraordinary lineup of musicians featuring:
  • Jack Glottman on piano
  • Gerald M. Thomas on bass
  • Dave Picton on drums, along with...
