By Kamau Austin With Marsha Duke - Founder BEST Networking Group

B.E.S.T. Networking Group, the emerging go to business networking, support, promotion, and training organization in Jamaica or Southeast  Queens, and the Greater New York City area - has completed its new highly interactive website.  The digital platform www.BESTeList.net, is the organization's latest creation to harness the power of the Internet to empower and create more viable businesses in the area.  B.E.S.T. stands for Building Business Entrepreneurs Strong Together.

While the organization has had a significant online presence on social media sites it didn't have an exclusive platform to showcase its rich offering of services for the development of entrepreneurship in the Jamaica and Southeast Queens, New York communities.  However, the BESTeList.net website has an important array of features and functionality.

The visionary and service orientated Founder of the BEST Networking Group, Marsha Duke, weighed in on the importance of the website's purpose and goals.  She affirms "One of the key elements in business development is marketing. It cultivates brand awareness, builds exposure and establishes the business presence. The ultimate end goal is to increase profitability.  One specific marketing tool is the internet, the first place consumers look for a business."

On Saturday, December 1st, 2018 the B.E.S.T. Networking Group, started by visionary and community minded Founder Marsha Duke, is sponsoring an innovative family orientated fun pop-up shop called the Winter Wonderland Experience.  The Winter Wonderland Experience, pop-up shop promises to be a great community event for both the attendees and vendors.  It offers a fun less stressed shopping experience with dynamic and creative entrepreneurs in Southeast Queens.

The Winter Wonderland Experience, is a pop-up shop tapping into this national trend with a distinct local flavor.  Southeast and Jamaica Queens, NY, is still a hotbed of innovative and impressive business people ready to showcase their products.

Southeast Queens has a history enriched with some of the most creative artists and talented entrepreneurs in the world growing up in the area.  Most people in our area know jazz and hip hop artists and business people like Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, John Coltrane, Lena Horne, Russell Simmons, Daymond John, LL Kool J, Nikki Minage, 50 Cent and many others hail from the area.

The Winter Wonderland Experience, however looks to showcase today's local talent on a broader scale beyond just entertainment to the community and visitors in nearby areas.  This is the 2nd year of the pop-up shop.  In the past the Winter Wonderland Experience, has showcased vendors and merchants as diverse as the health focused Regale Vitamin brand to the creative and mesmerizing desserts of "Gateau du Ciel" which means heavenly desserts in French.

The B.E.S.T. Taste & Shop Showcases Emerging Southeast Queens Businesses

Marsha Duke Awarded For
Community Work Helping Women
The B.E.S.T. Networking Group, a group dedicated to building viable businesses in Southeast Queens, is having their "Taste & Shop" live event May 12th, 2018.  The Taste and Shop will showcase talented food companies and entrepreneurs from various business sectors in our area.

The Group's events are usually very well attended and supported by people in the community and are a "must attend" for businesses looking to gain more visibility in the community.
The B.E.S.T. Networking Group, is lead by Marsha Duke, a tireless award winning community business advocate and real estate professional.  Ms. Duke was inspired to start B.E.S.T. because she felt her professional network was limited in our area.

This was a process for her. She realized her network was small in Queens, business wise, and she wanted to expand her base of business contacts.  Ms. Duke reveals her conceptual development for her networking group simply called B.E.S.T Networking Group. B.E.S.T. stands for Building Business Entrepreneurs Strong Together.

She adds “It was a bit challenging as my circle was small and all the resources I found where not in Queens. So I decided since there was not much of what I was looking for in terms of networking, I would create it.

And so I created the B.E.S.T Networking Group, in February, 2017, to meet and network with other entrepreneurs. However, in doing so I developed a passion for supporting, encouraging and promoting entrepreneurs like myself. The group started growing and benefiting not just myself but other like-minded individuals that have the same passion as I do.”

The passion for working with like-minded entrepreneurs obviously motivated Ms. Duke to really want to develop a networking group that is a win-win for the members involved in the organization. She states “My desire for support turned into my fuel to have all entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs support each other in business and to encourage our community to support each other as African Americans.”
