Enjoy a free evening of words and pure imagination at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center on Thursday, August 17th with Three-Legged Elephant Publishing’s newest talent, poet Sherese Francis and author Malcolm Boyd as they share from their respective literary works, “Lucy’s Bone Scrolls” and “One Way In, No Way Out”.

Ms. Francis is a published poet, writer and literary curator. Her Southeast Queens-based pop-up bookshop/mobile library, J. Expressions, is dedicated to the literary arts in Queens, and she is the recipient of a 2017 Queens Council on the Arts grant for this unique effort.

Mr. Boyd is the CEO of Three-Legged Elephant Publishing, and the author of ‘One Way In, No Way Out’, heralded by the San Francisco Examiner as, “Fast and fun…Boyd maintains an authoritative tone throughout the action-packed caper…that quickly and cleverly…establishes the major (and minor) characters’ in [his] urban thriller.” Book One of a trilogy, ‘One Way In…’ is presently under treatment to become a screenplay.

After their readings, Mr. Boyd and Ms. Francis will participate in a Q&A session with the audience. Both books will be on sale after the reading and light refreshments will be served.
