FORMER GANG MEMBER FROM LA NOW RUNS A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ORGANIZATION WITH 125 EMPLOYEES

In 2012, Yusef Wiley was released from a California Correctional facility after serving close to 22 years due to his past gang involvement in South Central LA. He hit the ground running being supported by family, friends, and the faith community located in the San Francisco Bay Area, he immediately began to make his passion for serving known by speaking at all types of venues.

Not long after that, requests began to pour in for Yusef to share his story at local government meetings, college campus events, and companies in Silicon Valley. After securing employment in the private school sector as an African-American Studies School Teacher.

In 2014, it was time to bring to life his dream and prayer to serve his community full-time as founder of the Timelist Group, Inc., which is now a successful multi-million dollar operation serving the very community he once helped to destroy as a gang member.

World Travelers Glenn and Amanda Goring, and their two daughters, Brooklyn and Lexington, are the owners/operators of a successful luxury travel business called In-Style Travel. Mom and Dad book the accommodations, curate travel itineraries, and serve as travel concierges for the luxury travel packages offered.

Meanwhile, the two daughters serve as travel influencers and video bloggers for their company’s YouTube channel, LittleMissTravelers. Together, this family travels in style and aims to show metaphorically and literally how we can also dress in style.

Why 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc.'s Mission Is Critical In New York?

New York, New York - The 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc.'s mission is critical during this time when so much is threatened by a sentiment to overturn Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at a critical time in America.

The playing field has not been leveled to give equal access to all of America. After many years of being affiliated with a local chapter of 100 Black Men of America, Inc., a conversation was held and we came to the conclusion that perhaps a new chapter of the “100” should be developed and we began conversations with 100 Black Men of America, Inc. to begin to take the necessary steps to seek a new chapter membership into the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. 

On October 3, 2021, the initial founders of 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc, which was comprised of Phil Andrews, President, John Nedd, Secretary, and Desmond Horsham-Braithwaite, treasurer met to begin taking steps to incorporate the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Senator Sanders Holds Public Hearing on Disparities in New York's Banking Industry

Albany, NY – February 28, 2024 – Yesterday, Senator James Sanders, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banks, hosted a public hearing at the Legislative Office Building in Albany, NY, to address the issue of disparities in New York's banking industry and their impact on consumer and small business access to financial services. The hearing was convened by the Senate Banks Committee, with members Senator Brisport, Senator Cleare, Senator Kennedy, Senator Parker, and Ranking Member Senator Borrello, along with Senator Tedisco.

Senator Sanders opened the hearing by emphasizing the purpose of the hearing: to look on knowing about the problem only so that he can solve the problem. He is not interested in how we fell into a hole but far more interested in how to get out of the hole.

This power couple, with a track record of entrepreneurial success, brings a wealth of experience and innovation to the Dream Exchange investor community.

Cassaundra Brownell, a distinguished entrepreneur and marketing expert, earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Oral Roberts University followed by an MBA from Dallas Baptist University. Cassaundra has dedicated over a decade to sales and consulting, becoming a driving force behind three logistics companies, a design and construction firm, and currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer for a cutting-edge startup specializing in leadership technology.
