Steve Harvey admits that he wants to be a mogul like Oprah. "I'd love to build one of the greatest media empires of all time. Oprah's done it," he said during a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter.

He says that Oprah once told him, "Steve, no matter what, get 51 percent ownership." So, he says that when he was approaching the end of his deal with NBC, WME-IMG came along and offered him a deal to launch another show and be the majority owner. "I called Oprah," Steve said. "And asked her: "Oprah, does this make sense to you?"

9/11 has had such a traumatic impact on people all over the world.  People from all backgrounds and ethnic groups were killed in the attack on the Twin Towers, at the World Trade Center. However, today I want to honor those from our area who died in the attacks.

But 1st please allow me to reminisce just a couple of minutes...

I remember my dad giving me Popular Mechanics, magazines to read.  And remember vividly reading about the plans to build the Twin Towers in Downtown Manhattan.

I remember being awestruck by the plans of building it.  I was incredulous at the idea of what they were going to do. In short, the story about the design and building of the World Trade Center, was the most memorable one I read in those "ole" mechanic and science magazines "back in da day."

I remember on car trips from New Jersey to New York with my mom and dad seeing the World Trade Center being erected in phases.  Our family did a good number of trips between New York and New Jersey during that time.  It was again awesome reading about the Twin Towers in science magazines and actually seeing it being built in real life...
