CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY TURNED ENTREPRENEUR'S NEW BOARD GAME KEEPS TEENS OUT OF PRISON
Nationwide -- Chicago native, 19-year veteran criminal defense and civil rights attorney, April D. Preyar, has launched an original boardgame called JustUs Junkie's Trials & Triumph.
Preyar is partner and co-owner of the boutique law firm, the Shiller Preyar Law Offices. She is an author, viral vlogger, and a new adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the John Marshall Law School. Trials & Triumph is a fun, interactive boardgame, which teaches teens and their families how to avoid getting caught in the snares of the criminal justice system. Players are faced with 54 real life scenarios, including social media crimes, group accountability, DUIs, and searches and seizures. Players learn better decision making and leave the play session equipped with 7 Rules of Police Encounters to apply to their daily lives.
