NEW MEMOIR GIVES WOMEN OF EVERY AGE A VOICE

Indianapolis, IN -- From magazine articles and social media posts, the world around us is constantly telling women how to look and how to behave. With aspirations of large followings and celebrity-status, many women get swept away by the illusion of success and acceptance.

Often, in this pursuit, they lose their own voices and morph into someone other than their most authentic selves. A new book, No Weapon! My Journey to Win peels back the layers of one woman's quest to find her inner most self and her voice.

Throughout the newly released memoir, she shares her journey to self-acceptance and self-love with the world.

In No Weapon! My Journey to Win, former radio personality, life coach, and motivational speaker Deagria Level shares her mesmerizing journey from a young girl in the Midwest to a teen grappling with coming of age against the backdrop of LA during the 1990's. Told with riveting details, the memoir takes an in-depth look at some of the pressures that women face from dating and relationship abuse to family dynamics and single motherhood.

From stay at home moms and college professors to young teen girls and women's groups alike, No Weapon! raises poignant questions about love, acceptance, self-identity, society and family. By educating others and providing insight about her journey, Level's book serves as a much overdue conversation-starter about ways in which women can begin the process of healing and finding hope.
