The Greater Allen Cathedral of New York is pleased to invite one and all to the 4th annual Christmas on Merrick celebration. Don’t miss this great gift give-away.

Donations of toys, gift cards, clothing and cash are being accepted.

This is the 4th year for the Christmas On Merrick Blvd toy give-away event hosted by The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral.  Last year NY-1 reported the event was able to give away 800 toys collected by church and community members.

According to a report from NY-1 in 2016, the organizer stated "...In the spirit of love, in the spirit of Christmas, it is not so much about the hustle and bustle, not so much about the shopping or the grind or being in the malls, it is really just about giving from the heart and that is what Christmas is all about," said organizer Rodeena Stephens.

Please let others in the community know about this toy give-away.  Those of us who are blessed please give a gift and help make Christmas better for less fortunate families in the community.  Isn't Christmas more about giving than receiving?
