Register Your Child for the Black Spectrum Summer Theatre Camp Open House

There will be a Summer Theatre Camp "Open House" at the Black Spectrum Theatre, for children between 8 - 13.  Thursday May 11th 6:45pm.

The Summer Theatre Camp will be July 5th, thru August, 11th.  The hours of operation will be Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.  There will be trips to an Amusement Park, Bowling, Statue of Liberty, and more.  For more information call 718-723-1800 ext. 205.

The Black Spectrum Theatre, serving Queens since 1970, hosts stage productions, films and performing arts that help promote and bring awareness to issues within the African-American community. With a particular focus on youth education, the theater serves the local African-American, Caribbean-American and Latino populations residing within its Queens location.

Youth programs include after-school options that enrich children’s lives through theater production, music studio recording and digital video production; a summer camp; and programs that encourage and support up-and-coming young actors. and is located in Roy Wilkens Park, in St. Albans, New York.
