59-YEAR-OLD MOM WHO REVERSED DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE LAUNCHES HEALTH & WELLNESS RETREAT FOR BLACK WOMEN

 After an early diagnosis with high blood pressure and diabetes, 59-year-old Jacqueline Glass from Harlem, New York City began her journey toward transformative health. Through diet and exercise, she was able to change her trajectory and reverse her diabetes, eliminate all prescription medication, and ultimately save her life.

This led Jacqueline, an ordained minister, to tell her story and inspire others to embark on a healthier way of life. Jacqueline began holding health and wellness conferences and symposiums that were attended by countless women looking for direction and a path forward to improve their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

As the founder of At the Well Conferences, Inc., for over 13 years, Jacqueline has created special conferences and leadership academies for women and girls of color that have changed their lives. For over eleven years, one of her early prolific endeavors was the prominent At the Well Young Women’s Leadership Academy, a powerful summer enrichment program for exceptional black teen girls at the prestigious Princeton University.

The academy created a special place for girls and women that gave them tools to help improve their lives. To create a safe space during the pandemic, the Leadership Academy went virtual to ensure access for more young women and girls when they needed it most. After 34 years of service with New York State Supreme Court, Jacqueline continued her passion for health and wellness, ensuring that women had the critical support needed to live full lives.

With anticipation and excitement growing ahead of the second edition of African Most Beautiful USA pageant www.ambusa.org  organizers Abofrem Area Foundation www.abofremareafoundation.org  have announced performers for the big night.

Our judges choose 10 finalists for this year’s pageant representing Kenya, Somalia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana and Sierra Leone. The organizers have announced a strong line up of Artistes to entertain guests on the night of the finals. 

The line up includes back to back Hitmaker and performer Mr. Drew, 2022 Ghana Music Awards winners Fameye and Akwaboah as well as comic actor and entertainer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win.

Highlife music lovers are not left out as singer Dada KD grabs a spot on the big stage. Musician Borax will be taking us back with some of our favorite old tunes as well.

The Road To Wealth Reboots With The TGS Financial System's Mobile App

Looking at wealth and income data in the United States illustrates obtaining prosperity in America isn't easy or for the faint of heart. To achieve financial independence and success takes careful planning for most Americans since the majority of us won't inherit wealth.

Less than 10% of Americans are millionaires. About 79% of millionaires claim they didn't obtain their wealth from an inheritance. According to the National Study Of Millionaires, the largest study of its type, only 21% of millionaires in the US received inheritances.

According to CNBC about 8.8% of all Americans are millionaires (or about 20.27 million Americans) . Since only 8.8% of Americans are millionaires this begs the question: how can the other 91.2% of Americans get on the path to wealth creation?

These certainly are sobering statistics to reflect on given the increasingly problematic nature of obtaining affluence in our country. However, entrepreneur Timothy Griggs, has developed an innovative and high-tech system to help most of us achieve financial viability and put us on the road to wealth creation in the United States.

Griggs has an extensive background of over 20 years in real estate investing and is also a mortgage broker. This positions him as an excellent resource since 90% of millionaires in the US invest their money in real estate.  Learn more in the video below...

Beyond Humanities “Tipping Point”

Let us cut to the chase and confess the obvious…we as a country are long pass the tipping point. “The Tipping” point as articulated by Malcom Gladwell defines a tipping point as the moment of critical mass, the threshold, and the boiling point.

As a reference we have certainty reached a critical mass in the number of people being killed by guns and by police officers with guns, cross incompressible thresholds in the number of children massacred by assault weapons and reached calorific boiling points with sorry a... police officers and politicians.

Politicians who rallied to stand up for Ukraine but laid down when called to protect our children. We are talking policemen who shoot when they should not (in the back, at a traffic stop, sleeping at home, with hands up, and fail to shoot when they should (standing down/ waiting while kids are murdered, when a white racist kills ten black people and walks out with hands up; if this would have been a person of any other color it would have unbelievable massacre. We are talking police officer who repeatedly violates the oath to serve and protect- a boiling point.  In the animal kingdom a lioness or female elephant will sacrifice their life to protect their young, but mankind has evolved to a pathetic threshold of protecting their blue suits/day job rather than save their children.
