New York State’s largest African American Chamber of Commerce LIAACC Receives National Recognition During 15th Year Anniversary. Under Phil Andrews, President – Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC) visionary leadership, LIAACC has emerged as one of the most dynamic chambers in the nation advocating for minority-owned businesses.
The chamber’s work and accomplishments have earned distinction on both regional and national levels.
Key National Highlights • Black Enterprise Magazine – BE Modern Man Honoree (2016) Phil Andrews was featured by Black Enterprise as a BE Modern Man 100 Honoree, recognized nationally as “Mr. Economic Empowerment” for his leadership and commitment to advancing Black entrepreneurship and economic development. • U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was named a Top Finalist for the Chamber of the Year Award by the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. during its annual national conference in Washington, D.C., honoring outstanding chambers across America.
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) – Small Business Champion (2019) Phil Andrews received Federal Recognition from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s New York District Office as Small Business Champion of the Year, highlighting his advocacy and impact on small business growth throughout the New York region.
Through these honors, Phil Andrews and LIAACC have positioned themselves as national influencers in minority business development, demonstrating leadership that bridges local impact with national reach.
