Ty Stephens Ends Black History Month Serenading Tonight Showcasing Smooth Jazzy Vocals Streamed Live Video With Special Guest Saxophonist Ed Jackson At Jackson Room

Increasingly, the streaming online concerts at the Jackson Room in St. Albans, Queens, NY, are becoming both a favorite community and now worldwide hit.  This is due to the largely supportive and encouraging persons in Southeast Queens, and now the world, because of their virtual events.

Their virtual events are now streamed live from the Jackson Room, jazz spot: the last Saturday of every month.  Even despite the pandemic Jackson Room, performances are becoming more and more supported by newer online supporters and also consistent Jackson Room patrons.  This is fueled by club owner Ed Jackson's adaption of streaming digital video technology available online.

Last month the Jackson Room featured the "Willie Martinez Trio," which were well received by viewers.  Ed Jackson, was featured as their special guest.

As we come to the end of February, as Black History Month, the hot jazz spot is gearing up tonight for an outstanding performance.  It promises to be another historic performance for the Jackson Room.

It is fitting that the performance tonight will showcase the talents of living legend jazz vocalist the talented Ty Stephens.  Ty Stephens, is the man with a satiny voice tonal quality and exciting jazz 
artistry improvisation.

You're love his creative and energetic singing. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ty Stephens is an award-winning singer/songwriter, entertainer and recording artist. Among Ty Stephens' many accomplishments are:
  • Grand Prize Winner Jazzmobile/Anheuser-Busch Solo Jazz Vocalist Competition, NYC, 2006
  • First Place Winner R&B/Blues Category of the International Songwriting Competition 2002 for “Somethin’ Strange”)
  • co-writer and original cast of “From My Hometown,”
  • co-writer/production, choreographer and star of the long-running “Shades Of Harlem” revue show and
  • co-writer/production, choreographer and
  • currently starring in the new off-Broadway hit “On Kentucky Avenue” (Songbirds Unlimited Productions/StepForward Entertainment)
He has appeared on Broadway in the original productions of “Sophisticated Ladies” and “Marilyn, An American Fable”. He has recorded with industry legends Harry Belafonte, Peggi Lee, dance music icon Dan Hartmann, disco pioneer Nile Rogers (“Beevis & Butthead”), master drummer Baba Olatunji, renowned trumpeter Chuck Mangione, singer Gwen McCrae, Def Jam premier artist Alyson Williams, among others.
