BLACK COUPLE'S COMMERCIAL CLEANING SERVICES HELP REMOVE 99% OF BACTERIA IN STOREFRONTS AND OFFICES

Nationwide --  To help companies and their employees work in safe environments during the COVID-19 pandemic, an African American couple from north central Florida has launched Nelson's Professional Cleaning Services, which uses eco-friendly products to help local businesses to remove 99% of all bacteria from their offices and/or storefronts.

Their company is a Jan-Pro franchise owned and operated by Mister and Virginia Nelson that offers their clients the unique EnviroShield® program, which helps to minimize the spread of viruses and bacteria, especially on commonly touched surfaces. Their franchise employs a dozen people and conducts extensive background checks for all of its employees.

"While many companies like ours are now jumping into the marketplace with various solutions of disinfection, my husband and I know that there's a need for this now - and long after COVID-19," said Virginia, a former juvenile detention officer and now a program manager at an all-girls group home.

Nelson's husband, Mister, who has worked in waste management for 21 years, added, "Look what’s going on with this coronavirus. It’s important that companies have a clean environment for their employees. We're going to be here for them now and many months and years, too."

As companies slowly begin to open back up, the Nelson’s are looking to work with businesses in several central Florida areas and throughout the Space Coast, including Brevard County, Orange County, Vero Beach, Cocoa Beach, and Cape Canaveral.

"We don't use your everyday household products," Virginia explained. "We use eco-friendly products and color-coded rags that are used only for certain surfaces and rooms."

Nelson's Professional Cleaning Services also is very community-minded and has participated in a number of events, including participating in several back-to-school giveaways. The company also offers vacations to new corporate clients.
