Houston, TX (Black Edged has announced the launch of its custom designed face shields. The company, a health and wellness firm based in Houston, Texas, entered the market at the beginning of 2020 with its first dietary supplement Black Edged "D" -- a pure vitamin D3 supplement (5,000 IU) blended with critical "cofactor" nutrients zinc, calcium and magnesium to enhance its efficacy.Recently, the company expanded its offerings to include limited- edition apparel items that embody the "Black Edged" ethos and leverage the artwork packaging of its supplement products. Now, in light of the COVID-19, pandemic the company is offering two versions of its custom designed face shield.

The face shields are technically referred to as neck gaiters; a closed tube of fabric, worn about the neck for protection and warmth. The gaiter is slipped on and off over the head and is quite versatile with utility as a face covering, headband, bandana, wristband, and neck warmer. The Black Edged neck gaiters are beautifully designed and feature the company's iconic black swan logo.

"The neck gaiters perfectly capture the Black Edged ethos," Sigmon said. "Black Edged is a state of mind... a powerful state of mind. We want everyone wearing our gear to feel that when they put it on and head out the door. We also want them to be safe in these uncertain times - wearing an article of clothing that will offer a measure of protection when interacting with others."

The Black Edged "Leo" (pictured) and "Miles" neck gaiter designs are currently available for purchase at The company also offers t-shirts and phone covers in a variety of colors for men and women. The company has plans to increase its retail distribution network so that its supplements and apparel can also be purchased at major retail stores.
