AWARD-WINNING BLACK EDUCATOR NAMED Gahmya Drummond-Bey THAT TRAVELS TO 20 COUNTRIES AND USES HIP-HOP TO GIVE KIDS AND TEENS THE SECRETS TO SUCCESS

Nationwide -- Every day, kids are bombarded with negativity on television and the radio. TED-Resident, global educator and CEO of Evolved Teacher, Gahmya Drummond-Bey is setting out to spin a more positive tune with the release of Bathroom Besties: Hip Hop Affirmations for Kids, a CD packed with 10 powerful affirmations kids and teens can "Milly Rock" and bust out in Fortnite dance moves as they motivate themselves every morning to strive for greatness.

While this is the first children's CD she has created, Drummond-Bey is no stranger to inspiring and motivating kids and teens to find their mission. In May 2018, she covered the topic in a heart-wrenching TED Talk where she received roaring applause. Drummond-Bey has spent much of her career seeking to understand how kids learn and relying on her passion as a teacher to educate young minds in South Korea, Turkey, Turkmenistan and various other parts of the world.

With tunes carrying titles such as "Everyday I'm Better," "My Voice Is My Power" and "I Meditate Away My Hater," Bathroom Besties: Hip Hop Affirmations for Kids provide powerful reminders to help children positively navigate challenging situations or quiet negative thoughts.

"When I saw what happened to Trayvon Martin and many others before and after him, I didn't want to just sit around and sulk about the devastation in the African-American community, I knew I needed to DO something to give our kids hope again," said Drummond-Bey. "I created Bathroom Besties: Hip Hop Affirmations for Kids as a way to hit the reset button on the 'self-talk' soundtrack of kids and teens, and to generate a more positive vibe that would inspire and guide them in their quest to becoming the leaders of tomorrow."

Since recently becoming available on iTunes, Tidal and Spotify, Bathroom Besties: Hip Hop Affirmations for Kids has garnered a firestorm of positive reviews as childcare providers like Ashia Ervin use the rhythmic affirmations to fill their students' ears with positivity.

"I know how important it is for children to receive daily doses of encouragement and this album brings it to them in a way that they love," said Ashia Ervin, Creator of Intuitive Little Genius. "I play this album for my daycare kids every morning and their parents light up as they tell me about their children singing and dancing all day while shouting about being grateful and powerful. I cannot say enough great things about this album. It's what every child should hear as they start their day!"

Bathroom Besties: Hip-Hop Affirmations for Kids has been downloaded and purchased by educators, childcare providers, parents and teens around the world. The CD retails for $9.90.
