Queens, NY — The Shops at Skyview will celebrate tennis season with “Ready, Set, Serve.” a US Open-inspired fan experience running August 20 through September 13. Located just one subway stop and a 10–15 minute walk from the US Open, Skyview invites tennis fans to extend the excitement beyond the courts with shopping, interactive experiences, and live match viewing.
Throughout the event, guests can capture their own tennis moment at an immersive photo booth at the entrance. During Finals Weekend, select US Open Finals will be shown on the Big Screen, culminating with the Men’s Singles Final on September 13 featuring a live DJ, refreshing drinks, giveaways, and more.
Fans can also get tournament-ready throughout the center. Retailers including Nike, Adidas, Old Navy, and Target will offer tennis-inspired apparel and accessories, while Sephora provides a convenient stop for sunscreen and other sun-protection essentials before heading to the matches.
“With the US Open right in our backyard, we want to give both visitors and the Queens community another way to be part of the excitement,” said Wesley Sin, Senior Marketing Manager of Acadia Realty Trust, owner of The Shops at Skyview. “It’s a great opportunity to connect sports with shopping, entertainment, and community experiences.”
“Ready, Set, Serve.” is complimentary and open to the public. For updates, follow @theshopsatskyviewny on social media or visit the official website www.theshopsatskyviewny.com/events
New Self-Help Book
“Blame It on the Feel of Pain”
About Detangling From Past Pain
Get ready for a transformational journey toward inner peace as indie author Max W. Miller’s new self-help release, Blame It On The Feel Of Pain, inspires readers in a witty, down-to-earth book. Truth and compassion are foretold, using poetic frames called ‘The Wises,’ and the help of opinionated little emojis bringing laughter and thought-provoking conclusions throughout.
The author encourages her readers, whom she also calls partners, to stop wrestling with the hard knocks of the past. She expresses how voluntarily walking back into time precedes trauma healing. Confronting lingering pains is a step toward strength and hope for the future. ‘Blame It’ delves into the author’s life experiences, bringing to life the importance of using Full Circle Moments to find resolutions.
Throughout Blame It On The Feel Of Pain, the reader grows to understand through a unique interpretation that what we are destined to become grows out of the years we’ve already traveled. Further, our future hinges on how we address the pains of the past. Other expressions focus on how desires in the present are carved out of having a clear vision that old, lingering strongholds must be defeated. A history of suffering is a prerequisite for becoming fed up enough to demand enjoyment now!
