Article On World Wallball / Handball Championships in Queens and
New York City Continues Below...

Few cities in the world have a deeper connection to the sport than New York City. Across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island, public handball courts have long served as community landmarks where players from all walks of life compete side by side. The game has always reflected the spirit of the city itself tough, diverse, passionate, and accessible to everyone.

For this historic occasion, the handball community will unite like never before. Major organizations including the St. Albans Handball Association (SAHA), Castle Hill Handball Association (CHHA), WallBall International Federation (WIF), Impact Pro, and the Buddha Big Blue Organization will work together to help deliver one of the greatest international handball events ever staged.

That collective spirit is exactly what makes New York the ideal host city.

The Championships will welcome competitors from Europe, North America, Latin America, and beyond. Athletes will compete not only for titles and medals, but also for national pride and the opportunity to showcase the highest level of international wallball and handball competition.

For spectators, the event promises nonstop excitement and world-class athleticism. The speed of the rallies, strategic shot-making, physical endurance, and pressure-filled moments make handball one of the most thrilling sports to experience live. Every match reflects the discipline, intensity, and heart that define the game.

Beyond the courts, the Championships are expected to bring meaningful cultural and economic impact to New York City. Hundreds of athletes, coaches, families, and supporters are expected to travel to the city, supporting local hotels, restaurants, transportation services, and businesses throughout the five boroughs.

Equally important is the inspiration this event can provide for future generations. Young players watching world-class athletes compete in their own neighborhoods may discover a lifelong connection to the sport. Increased visibility can strengthen youth programs and expand participation in communities across the city and around the world.

At a time when many sports are becoming increasingly commercialized, wallball and handball continue to stand apart because of their authenticity, accessibility, and deep community roots. The sport continues to thrive in parks, schools, recreation centers, and neighborhoods worldwide.

The 2026 World Wallball / Handball Championships represent an opportunity to celebrate the global handball family while elevating the sport to an even greater international stage.

When the opening serve is struck in New York on September 14, 2026, the world will witness more than a championship event.

It will witness the spirit of a sport built on community, passion, resilience, and international unity.

For six unforgettable days, New York City will stand at the center of the handball world.

Author Max Miller Releases
New Self-Help Book
“Blame It on the Feel of Pain”
About Detangling From Past Pain

Get ready for a transformational journey toward inner peace as indie author Max W. Miller’s new self-help release, Blame It On The Feel Of Pain, inspires readers in a witty, down-to-earth book. Truth and compassion are foretold, using poetic frames called ‘The Wises,’ and the help of opinionated little emojis bringing laughter and thought-provoking conclusions throughout.

The author encourages her readers, whom she also calls partners, to stop wrestling with the hard knocks of the past. She expresses how voluntarily walking back into time precedes trauma healing. Confronting lingering pains is a step toward strength and hope for the future. ‘Blame It’ delves into the author’s life experiences, bringing to life the importance of using Full Circle Moments to find resolutions.

Throughout Blame It On The Feel Of Pain, the reader grows to understand through a unique interpretation that what we are destined to become grows out of the years we’ve already traveled. Further, our future hinges on how we address the pains of the past. Other expressions focus on how desires in the present are carved out of having a clear vision that old, lingering strongholds must be defeated. A history of suffering is a prerequisite for becoming fed up enough to demand enjoyment now!
