The Fiery Passion of Pedro Cortés: Gypsy Flamenco Soul Guitar & Dance

Pedro Cortes is the artistic director of his own Flamenco group, and musical director of Palo Seco. Cortes is a third generation Flamenco guitarist and uses the experience passed down to him by his family to maintain the purity of Flamenco while creating new compositions.

Free Summer Meals at Your Local Library

Queens Library is honored to partner with the NYC Department of Education to provide an essential summer service — FREE lunches for Children




Queens Library will provide summer meals from Thursday, June 29 through Friday, September 1.
Summer meals are OPEN to all children, 18 and younger. Enrollment is not required. There is no cost.


Meals will be provided Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the following locations.

Baisley Park, 117-11 Sutphin Boulevard, Jamaica
Briarwood, 85-12 Main Street
Cambria Heights, 218-13 Linden Boulevard
Central Library, 89-11 Merrick Boulevard, Jamaica
