FRENCH SINGER-SONGWRITER INSPIRED BY NINA SIMONE RELEASES NEW MUSIC THAT PAYS HOMAGE TO CIVIL RIGHTS AND FREEDOM

Nationwide -- Estelle California is certainly an artist on the rise. Talented, passionate and deeply honest her latest EP "My Name is Freedom" is off to a fast start winning praise for its well-written songs and her emotional, hypnotic vocals. In exciting news, Estelle recently announced the release of the third single from the EP, "The Land of Freedom". The beautiful and inspirational lyric video for "the Land of Freedom" has also debuted in support of the song which is available across all major platforms.

Estelle migrated to the United States from France in 2013. She has done her best to bring this spirit into her music to encourage others to think about these topics in positive ways as well, something she has won consistent praise for.

BLACK ENTREPRENEURS FILE FEDERAL LAWSUIT AGAINST U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR DISCRIMINATION IN THE LEGAL MARIJUANA INDUSTRY

Seattle, WA Members of a group called Black Excellence In Cannabis filed a federal lawsuit earlier this month against Washington State Governor Jay Inslee and Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) for what they see as state officials running a corrupt and discriminatory licensing and regulatory scheme in the guise of a legal recreational cannabis industry.

U.S. Attorney General, William Barr is also included as a defendant, as the U.S. federal government has been acting as an accessory by funding Washington State to enforce federal laws while regulators operate and profit from an illicit licensing and taxation racket at the expense of African Americans' Constitutional Rights.

Constitutionally protected Civil Rights at the center of this suit are; Title 42 US Code § 1981, 1983 and 1985.

Plaintiffs Aaron Barfield and Peter Manning are turning to the U.S. federal courts for justice after years of working for inclusion for African Americans in their state's lucrative recreational cannabis market.

BLACK-OWNED FINANCIAL TECH FIRM MoCaFi RAISES $3.5M IN SEED ROUND AS THEY ADVANCE EFFORTS TO ADDRESS THE RACIAL WEALTH GAP

Newark, NJ -- Mobility Capital Finance (MoCaFi), a financial technology company that is committed to bringing financially underserved communities in the United States into the digital banking economy, has closed $3.5 million in a Series Seed funding round. Wole Coaxum, founder of the company, is an African American former Wall Street and insurance industry executive.

The Series Seed round was led by Radicle Impact Partners with other institutional investors including Newark Venture Partners (NVP), Partnership Fund for New York City, Social Venture Circle of Philadelphia, SustainVC, WinWin, Portfolia, and Capital Access Holdings. Several family offices participated as well. Winston & Strawn served as Company counsel.

"MoCaFi delivers high quality, appropriately priced products and services to communities across the country," said Coaxum. "Financially vulnerable people, especially communities of color deserve the opportunity to bank smart and build their credit.

The funding that we have received will be utilized to focus on expanding opportunities for traditionally underserved communities, bringing more people into the financial mainstream – lowering their cost to borrow, increasing their access to quality products and services, and providing a resource in the journey of creating wealth."
