Nationwide -- Venita Benitez, a self-proclaimed abolitionist and genealogist, is appealing to the Queen of England to support an upcoming historical event.

It is the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first Africans on English American soil, and Benitez believes that the Queen is the only one who can acknowledge and denounce the crest of John Hawkins for the atrocity of slavery and one of the worst crimes committed against humanity.
