From The Office of NYS Senator Leroy Comrie

Dear neighbors,

Southeast Queens has been home to countless legends, among which are athletes, musicians, media personalities, politicians, and academics. But there are only a few who have enjoyed the career longevity and widespread admiration that LL Cool J has.

Among his many accolades, LL Cool J has Grammy Awards, platinum status albums, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, all which demonstrate the heights he has reached during his thirty years in entertainment.

However, anyone who has worked with LL Cool J can tell you that despite all he has earned, he has never forgotten where he came from. Year after year, he has hosted his annual Jump and Ball Basketball Tournament and Clinic absolutely free of charge for the kids who are growing up in the the community he grew up in. Working with LL Cool J is always a pleasure because the work he does to give back is done out of the kindness of his heart and a deep devotion for the Southeast Queens community.

LL Cool J has been nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for his remarkable contributions to music. I encourage you all to show your support by casting your vote for LL Cool J on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction website. You may do so by clicking here. You may cast one ballot per day until December 5th when the polls close.

Yours in service,

Leroy Comrie
District 14/Queens

Note From The Publisher: NINA SIMONE, and RUFUS FEATURING CHAKA KHAN, are also up for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and we at the Southeast Queens urge you to vote for them too. Also...
