My Silent Tears: One Woman’s Journey Through Trauma, Faith, and Survival

Born in Myrtle Beach and raised in The Bronx, Shekeitha “Shay” Wilson is an author and survivor using her voice to help women break the silence surrounding abuse. Through faith, perseverance, and personal healing, Shay has transformed years of pain into a message of hope and empowerment for women facing physical, verbal, mental, and sexual abuse.

Her powerful book, My Silent Tears, serves as both a personal testimony and a source of encouragement for women who may feel trapped, isolated, or afraid to speak out. Shay says writing the book became a form of therapy and healing after enduring years of trauma and emotional darkness within abusive relationships.

Today, Shay hopes her story helps other women realize they are not alone and that healing, freedom, and strength are possible. She is also passionate about mentoring and encouraging survivors by being a listening ear for those navigating difficult situations.  Checkout Her Interview Below...

In September 2026, New York City will make history as the international home of wallball and handball when the Inner-City Handball Association, in cooperation with the World Handball Council and the United States Handball Association, presents the 2026 World Wallball / Handball Championships for the first time ever.

From September 14 through September 19, New York’s legendary courts in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan will host elite athletes, passionate fans, and international federations from across the globe for six unforgettable days of championship competition and cultural celebration. More than simply a sporting event, the Championships will honor the passion, resilience, and unity that have defined handball for generations.

Scientist Renee Ayo Williams Launches
Zero-Knowledge AI Platform to
Protect Black Mothers from
Medical Bias and Unnecessary Surgeries

SAN DIEGO, CA — May 4, 2026 — Renee Ayo Williams, a clinical research scientist with over 25 years of experience, has officially launched CycleSync, a groundbreaking AI-powered health advocacy platform. Built specifically to protect Black women from medical dismissal and maternal mortality, CycleSync gives women the exact tools they need to demand better care.

The launch comes at a critical time. Black women in the United States currently die from pregnancy-related complications at three times the rate of white women. Too often, their voices are ignored.

The Chesapeake Regional Wake-Up Call
For Williams, the need for a protective shield became undeniable after a shocking lawsuit in Virginia. More than 500 former patients are currently suing Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, alleging the hospital allowed an OB-GYN to perform unnecessary and uninformed surgeries—including hysterectomies—on women for years.

"When I read about women waking up from surgery not knowing why they were operated on, it solidified my mission," says Williams, who holds a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) credential. "I am a scientist, but I am also a Black woman who has navigated this healthcare system. I built CycleSync so we have documented proof of our health, making it much harder for doctors to dismiss us or push us into procedures we do not need."
