Ca$h Da$h On The Rock I$ Rockin
Far Rockaway on Small Business Saturday!

CA$H DA$H ON THE ROCK, a grassroots collective, will host a CASH MOB for Downtown Far Rockaway on Small Business Saturday, November 29th from 2 :00 PM to 4:00 PM.

This CASH MOB is a community shopping spree to inject life, love and dollars into Downtown Far Rockaway's Small Businesses. This is not a one-day pop-up - this is not just a shopping day--it's more than a CASH MOB it's the start of a movement.

Every $20 or $50 spent locally builds the economic infrastructure of the community" says Gail Johnson of the CA$H DA$H ON THE ROCK team. "We're reclaiming our blocks, our community, our future - one cash register at a time. Get offline. Get on the block. Spend at least $20 in a local store."

"For years, Downtown Far Rockaway has battled disinvestment and a damaged public image" said Aiysha Simon of the CA$H DA$H ON THE ROCK team. "But behind the headlines are resilient entrepreneurs, mom-and-pop storefronts, and hard-working families."

Now, CA$H DA$H ON THE ROCK is giving the community a reason to rediscover the heart and soul of the Downtown Far Rockaway business district. "Downtown Far Rockaway is open for business and is full of undiscovered treasures," said Roni Anderson, another member of the CA$H DA$H ON THE ROCK team.

From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, shoppers, supporters, influencers and curious visitors are invited to join the CASH MOB at the Greenspace at the corner of Mott Avenue and Central Avenue, across from the New Queens Library.
