The Celebrity Kings Of Southeast Queens Power Themselves To Success

By Kamau Austin

When you do some background checking into successful people you will find that many times they have a regular fitness routine that helps give them the energy, discipline, focus and appeal to springboard them to success.  This is certainly the truth for two hip hop driven celebrities LL Cool J and 50 Cent, who powered themselves to success outside of their initial hip hop performances and music production into the larger entertainment and business fields.

LL Cool J and 50 Cent come from the tough and aggressive hip hop culture so being in peak or imposing physical shape is a part of their street cred.  Being muscular also makes them more appealing in their entertainment fields.

They both use training reflective of their roots in hip hop and rap culture.   Both men aren't youngsters.  50 Cent is 42-years of age while LL Cool J is 50.  So to look incredible at their ages, to be both muscular and ripped, takes a lot of weightlifting, cardio training, and also a healthy diet.  They get a good amount of their cardio fitness from boxing which also is practical for them to be able to protect themselves.

Malacia Anderson Creates Trendy African Adorned Fashions Fit For A Queen

By Kamau Austin And Malacia Anderson
Malacia Anderson AKA Li Li
Malacia N. Anderson AKA Li Li is the unassuming queen of women's african inspired fashion sold via e-commerce.  Perhaps the hard work she has endured to become a very familiar face in online fashion has kept her humble and down to earth.  She was once a former seamstress who hadn't sewn for quite a while.

However, she has more recently become a sophisticated and regal like inspiration for trendy and directional custom fashion on social media.  From tireless efforts of online promotion on social media her clothes and modeling aplomb have made her a ubiquitous personal clothing brand online.

Recently Etsy, the online shopping platform, did a video interview with her after she reached over 2,000 sales on their platform.  I contacted the queen of motherland imbued trendy fashions as she is busy preparing her Spring and Summer Fashion lines.  She took time out of her intense custom order schedule to answer some questions about her journey to success.

NYS James Sanders' Shares His Outlook On
the State Budget For 2018-2019

Greetings,

The recently passed 2018-2019 (NYS Budget) makes improvements on both policy and revenue items, but falls short of the progressive leadership New York is renowned for throughout the nation and world.

My Democratic Conference colleagues and I have been fighting for common sense legislation that will grow the state economy as well as protect the rights of all New Yorkers. The budget negotiations were difficult, but in the end were able to make advancements in the areas of health, housing and education. Though we can and should do more, this gives us a foundation upon which we can build.

Sincerely,
James Sanders Jr.
NYS Senator, 10th District

Nationwide  -- Beyoncé, through her BeyGOOD initiative, has established the Homecoming Scholars Award Program for students attending Xavier University, Wilberforce University, Tuskegee University and Bethune-Cookman University - all Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Beyoncé announced the program when she made history at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival by becoming the first Black woman to headline in the festival's 19-year run.

The show, with its homage to excellence in education, was a celebration of the homecoming weekend experience, the highest display of college pride. The energy-filled production put the spotlight on art and culture, mixing the ancient and the modern, which resonated masterfully through the marching band, performance art, choir and dance. It was the impetus to mark her second scholarship program.
