On Oct 21st, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter and their community partners will host a Free Women’s Wellness Event in Queens, NY.
The
day will open with Yoga/Zumba to get people moving, followed by a movie
screening and/or panel discussion – Victim to Victory, and end with a
self defense workshop put on by our Sorority Sister, Ashanti Brown and
members of the American Jiu Jitsu Center of Manhattan. They will also
have a few Healthcare Service providers on hand to share information
about their institutions.
This day is open to women of all ages. Please
wear comfortable clothes. Together we will stop the cycle of violence!
